Aratas America’s New Chapter: Building for Growth as an Independent Electronic Components Company
Today marks an important milestone for Aratas America as the company officially launches as an independent organization following the transfer of shares held by OMRON Corporation to The Carlyle Group.
While our company and organizational structure continue to evolve, one thing remains constant: our commitment to our customers.
As we transition to an independent company, we are taking a close look at where we can create the greatest opportunities for our customers and our business. To guide this next phase, we have identified five strategic pillars that will guide our future growth:
- Focus on growth markets and expanding order intake
- Strengthen product development capabilities
- Enhance global manufacturing and supply capabilities
- Explore medium- to long-term growth opportunities
- Drive management and organizational transformation
These priorities provide a clear framework for our continued growth, building on organizational changes already underway across the company.
In June 2026, we approved plans to relocate and expand our manufacturing facility in Malaysia. The investment will support upcoming construction and future capacity needs while strengthening our global manufacturing and supply capabilities.
In July, we adopted a new vertically integrated organizational structure comprising five business units: Diversified Applications, Application Modules, Mobility, Industrial Components, and Strategic Industries. The structure brings development, manufacturing and sales capabilities together within each business unit, enabling greater focus on growth markets while strengthening cost competitiveness and supporting more agile decision-making.
There is more work ahead as we continue shaping Aratas, but our direction is clear: to remain focused on our customers, strengthen what we do well and build the capabilities needed for what comes next.
This is a new chapter for Aratas, and we are excited about what we will build together.
